Starting Over:
Hey guys. I am starting to realize that I am not having success with women because I am obsessed with them. Sure, having a few ladies at your side (with more at your beck-and-call) is a dream for many. I am beginning to realize that obsession breeds fear (which hinders success). I believed the fear of failure would motivate me to become more comfortable around women. I had the mindset to only approach HB8s, 9s and 10s. As a result, I passed up on many opportunities to practice and develop my game. When I see an HB9 or 10, I tense up. When I see an HB6, I go numb. Sure, I believe it is crucial for men to have dating preferences when it comes to women. I also believe that when learning pickup, its good to have test subjects. 9s and 10s are so incredibly hard (or expensive) to find, one would easily drain their resources in search of girls to approach. My new mindset is going to be to approach or converse with everyone. Conversation skills are important when it comes to developing game.
Motivation:
Motivation is a key element when it comes to pursuing a particular goal. Often times, the goal, itself, is not enough to catapult you into the winner's circle. It is often a good practice to consider your motivation. One thing that I chose to do recently, was to write down my motivations for pursuing the world of pickup. Upon writing down my reasons for pursuing the lifestyle, I became rejuvenated with an intense vigor to attain success.

ReplyDeleteI hope you won't mind me saying so - I personally don't think the title does you many favours as a pimp has connotations of being a selfish bastard! But you come across as a nicer kind of guy deeper down who just wants to have better success with the ladies and that's never a bad thing as long as you're a cool dude. I look forward to reading what you write and happy to give a woman's POV now and again :-)
