The Story:
Last night, I decided it would be a great idea to go to go to the local mall in search of girl to approach. After a long day of work, I went home to change and prepare myself for the hunt. By the time I arrived at the mall, I realized it was not long till closing time. Sure the mall wasn't set to close for another hour, yet the mall seemed duller than usual for the time of day. I convinced myself that the fewer numbers of available candidates would only increase my success rate.
As I entered the Macy's department store, I noticed an HB8 from afar with a clipboard near coach bags. Sure she was an employee, but I figured she was fair game. I approached her by asking if she worked in the COACH department. She told me she was a general manager, but I continued on my thread of conversation. I asked her about purses that would match my sneakers and hats. The look on her face was classic. I apparently do not have the gay vibe going on, so she was confused--wondering whether or not to take me seriously. After a pause, I told her I was joking, welcoming a relived, humorous look from her. At this moment I realized that I was not attracted to her. She had far too much makeup on, and painted on eyebrows (in my mind, she went from an HB8 to an HB6). I established kino with a lingering handshake, while complimenting her sense of humor. For some reason, I was not compelled to go in for a number close.
The rest of the night went much like this. I only approached three female mall associates-- many of which were busy with their prior engagements. I did not approach any female patrons. As I don't have to work today, my goal is to go out on the prowl, hoping for better results.
